We had a spectacular wedding in Tulum last month, and we used Gwen from Destination Weddings Tulum to coordinate everything. We must have looked at over 3 dozen possible venues. We knew we did not want to do the all-inclusive/Dreams Tulum sort of wedding, but that made the planning a whole lot more complicated. We ended up getting married at Casa Nalum, a gorgeous villa in Sian Ka'an, and we had a great welcome dinner the night before at Playa Azul (see earlier Playa Azul review). Gwen helped to bring everything in, managed the caterers, amazing flowers and centerpieces, and even a fire dancer show. Gwen also found Maria the Shaman to officiate, and the Mayan ceremony ended up being the highlight for our guests - surprisingly personal and probably the most interactive wedding anyone had ever attended. The wedding community in Tulum seems pretty close knit, and Gwen knew everyone we needed to work with. As stressful as wedding planning may be, the event went as smoothly as we could have ever hoped.

Our 2 weeks in Mexico was bliss and I could imagine doing our wedding a different way. Thank you so much for coordinating our wedding. It was godsend to find you practically 2 or 3 months before the wedding to help make my dream to get married in Tulum come true. After seeing sometimes up to 4 or 5 cookie-cutter weddings at Barcelo resort a day, it made me even happier to get married in Tulum at a gem of a place. You made our wedding unique, and I loved how you were very laid back.

I mean to send you a proper card, and I was hoping to get your address in Tulum.
