FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • A wedding in Tulum is a great way to create a relaxed, casual, and holiday-like atmosphere for your wedding. It is also a great way to bring your friends and family together for a weekend getaway. There is nothing like dancing barefooted under the stars, sand between your toes and the rhythmic sound of the waves in the background. What better way to celebrate your love. Saying "I do" on a breathtaking beach will make any and all planning pains worth it. And Tulum offers also the Jungle side that is the perfect complement for a full natural and boho experience.

Tulum has also so much to offer in terms of activities and things to do around, history, beach, cenotes, jungle, lagune, shopping, diving……

  • A local planner will give you their best insights and deep knowledge about the best local vendors, venues and important factors to consider that have to do with the particularities of a wedding in Tulum. Thanks to their extensive local network and relationships, they will ensure to keep the communication on track with everyone involved in town and will be your own spokesperson and representative to create the best experience for you in Tulum while you are far away during the planning process.

  • We are pioneers in wedding planning in Tulum; a growing town on the Riviera Maya. For the past 12 years we have been creating, designing, planning, producing and executing events which have given us the skills and the know-how to create beautiful and memorable destination weddings in the area, Beach or Jungle- Remote or not.

We create unique designs and concepts in harmony with the nature and environment that surround us: food, drinks, favors, entertainment, activities and decor.

We love fashion and trend but wish to leave behind only our footprints. We want to give you a wedding that will be wonderful, authentic and sustainable.

  • While 6-15 months is the ideal amount of time to perfectly plan your wedding with all the availability you need, we have worked with couples that have planned gorgeous weddings in only a couple of months. We always advise couples to start the process sooner rather than later, particularly with large groups. The earlier you book, the more choices of venue and vendors you will have.

  • Our weddings are tailor-made events and unique celebrations. We work with all different guest-sizes, including elopements and big affairs. Our most requested one is a “full planning” package; it means that we take care of every single aspect of your destination wedding including concierge services, design, planning, and coordination starting even before you find your venue. We also do a “month of coordination”, which means that we help you finalize everything that you have planned and we will coordinate your big day.

  • We will guide you to choose a venue that aligns with your vision.

Are you more sand, terrace, beach front, resort, cenote, private house or jungle?

Are you more of a chef table or big BBQ?

We would like to know about your guest list, do you like to have them with you during the weekend? What is your budget for lodging? F&B? What are your priorities considering your guests' experience…. All those questions help us to understand what are the best venues for you.

  • According to your choice of place, venue and wedding style we will send you a personalized budget which will include:

Planning, Design and Coordination. The budget will furthermore include an extended, proposed list of wedding services such as ceremony, photographer, DJ, decorations, show/entertainment, furniture rental, flowers, food(canapés, dinner and dessert) and alcoholic beverages (for approximately 8 hours) etc.

The budget will be customized to fulfill your expectations. We consider around 650USD per person is a good amount for a wedding in Tulum.

Choosing to have a destination wedding allows you to have the celebration of your dreams. Our goal is to give you and your loved ones an extraordinary and unique experience while still keeping the expenses within your wedding budget.

  • Traveling to a destination wedding with a wedding dress can seem tricky and perhaps even a bit stressful. But it doesn’t have to be! To ensure that your gown makes it safely to your destination, we recommend either having it with you in your carry-on or better yet, taking your dress on board the airplane in a garment bag. Most airlines will accommodate special items and are happy to help wedding couples by allowing them to hang their special attire in the airplane closet. It is always a good idea to call ahead and see what their policies are to avoid any unpleasant surprises and last minute difficulties. Then, simply sit back and enjoy the ride to paradise!

  • Most weddings happen in Tulum between October and May, this is the “wedding high season”. The main reason is that the rainy season usually takes place between June and September and the heat is also stronger during summer and early fall, even though there is always a breeze on the beach. It is always important to consider the factor of rain, even during the “dry season”, since the Caribbean weather is unpredictable. This is why we always discuss with our couples the options for Plan B so we can prepare accordingly.
